A deadly road crash has claimed three lives and left others injured after two vehicles collided on a major highway.

Three people have been confirmed dead and three others injured following a road collision on the Ijebu Ode-Benin Expressway on Wednesday morning.
The accident, which occurred at approximately 5 a.m., involved a crane bearing no registration plate and a Benz truck registered as LG 59 BLF.
According to eyewitness accounts, the crane driver operated the vehicle against the direction of traffic at excessive speed, resulting in a head-on collision with the truck, which was travelling lawfully in its assigned lane.
Six occupants three males and three females were in the two vehicles at the time of impact.
Two males and one female were fatally injured, whilst the remaining three males sustained injuries.
The three injured persons were transported to Babcock University Hospital in Ilisan Remo, whilst the bodies of the deceased were conveyed to the morgue of Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital in Sagamu.
The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency confirmed the incident and disclosed that traffic was diverted from Delabo Junction to the second lane under agency monitoring.
