Local vigilante groups who attempted to resist the att@ckers were reportedly overwhelmed, with some reportedly trapped and b¥rnt alive within their operational base.
The state government has not disclosed details regarding the circumstances of the victims' release or whether any financial payment was involved in securing their freedom.
