A Nigerian woman has generated online attention after sharing her 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination result following her third attempt at the examination.

The individual, identified as Umukoro Deborah Efe-Zino, disclosed that she had struggled with the examination across two years before ultimately achieving success.

Deborah, who completed secondary education in 2024, shared her experience and results on a social media platform, detailing how she overcame repeated setbacks.

According to her account, she sat for both the examination and university entrance examinations after completing secondary school.

While she successfully passed the entrance examination, her secondary school certificate results proved challenging due to difficulties with English Language, preventing her from achieving desired outcomes.

She subsequently registered for a second attempt, though results remained disappointing.

Deborah revealed that these repeated setbacks affected her emotionally, describing tears and confusion regarding why she continued experiencing difficulties despite her efforts.

Remaining determined, she registered for the 2026 examination at an educational institution in Ikorodu and successfully cleared all subjects attempted.

Her results demonstrated strong performance across nine subjects, including distinctions in Marketing, Government, and Civic Education, alongside credit passes in Christian Religious Studies, Economics, Literature in English, English Language, General Mathematics, and a pass in Yoruba.

This outcome represented a significant turnaround, particularly given her previous struggles with English Language specifically.

Sharing her achievement online, Deborah encouraged others facing comparable challenges not to abandon their pursuits, emphasising that delays do not constitute denials and that persistence eventually yields results.

Her post has since generated considerable engagement from social media users, with many Nigerians celebrating her determination and commending her continued commitment despite the difficulties encountered.
