Individuals with disabilities have participated in a mass demonstration held in support of Governor Bassey Edet Otu in Calabar.

Video documentation from Friday's event captured disabled participants engaging in the gathering, with some utilising assistive mobility devices such as crutches and others employing customised seating arrangements as they joined the assembled crowd.

Attendees wore distinctive green headwear and black garments displaying images of the governor.

Promotional signage advocating for the governor and referencing the upcoming electoral cycle was visible throughout the venue.

Their presence formed part of the overall attendance at the gathering, which was convened to exhibit backing for the sitting administrator.

Reality television personality Josephina Otabor also graced the occasion.

She was observed moving through the assembled participants while dressed in brown and black leather apparel.

She was accompanied by a cohort of supporters adorned with green headwear, party-branded garments and traditional dress, with signage showcasing the governor's infrastructural achievements and promotional messaging.
