IK Ogbonna is making his way back to the screen after stepping away from the spotlight following the loss of his close friend and colleague Alex Ekubo.

Actor IK Ogbonna announced his return to the industry several months after the death of his close friend and colleague, Alex Ekubo.
As he and those close to the late actor have struggled to find their footing, Ogbonna, who has been coping with the emotional fallout from Ekubo's passing, said the time has been challenging.
The actor admitted that life has been different after Ekubo's death in an Instagram video.
Additionally, he thanked everyone who had been sympathetic and patient with him as he dealt with the loss.
"Life felt different after Alex's death. I know I haven't been really present, and it's been a lot to comprehend. I think we've all been attempting to rediscover our rhythm in various ways.
"I just wanted to express my gratitude for your understanding, patience, and holding things down.
It's time to regain our footing, sharpen our focus, and resume our work. We have a lot ahead of us, and I'm prepared. "Come on," he wrote.
After spending some time to deal with his friend's passing, he gradually returned to the screen with a new film project.
