Governor Okorocha Turns Football Goalkeeper at Imo Legislative Match (Photos)

Outspoken governor of Imo state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has been pictured in a novelty football match held yesterday as he captained his side as a goalkeeper to a one-all draw.

To commemorate the first year of the Imo state legislative arm of government, a novelty match was organised yesterday between the legislature and executive.
 
In photos released online, the Executive Governor of the state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha was pictured as a goalkeeper while Speaker, Acho Ihim was the team manager of the legislature.

It was gathered that the match commenced with an early goal scored by Hon Kennedy Ibeh of Obowo. 
 
The exit of Governor Okorocha from the goal post, saw the introduction of his Deputy who wasted no time in scoring a penalty kick awarded the Executives by the Central referee who is the Chief Judge, Justice Pascal Nnadi.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw with the Deputy Governor acclaimed as the 'Man of The Match.'
