Activist Aisha Yesufu has warned Nigerians not to trust the election commission's technology and urged people to watch the voting process closely at every stage.
She said citizens should monitor the counting and movement of result sheets from polling units all the way through to the final announcement in Abuja.
Yesufu said the election technology cannot be relied on and that Nigerians should treat everything as manual and done by hand.
On election day, voters need to watch like hawks as officials count votes and write down the results at polling units.
She called for people to follow the result sheets as they move from polling units to ward centres, then local government offices, then state centres, and finally to Abuja.
Throughout the entire process, she said election officials and result sheets must never be left unwatched.
Yesufu said the goal is simple make sure that what gets announced at the end is what Nigerians actually voted for.
From every corner of the country, whether in remote areas or cities, people should be prepared to follow the process and ensure the final result matches the votes that were cast.
