Music executive Ubi Franklin says he has technology that can solve Lagos flooding.
He said the technology can clear blocked gutters and help water flow better, which would reduce flooding across different parts of the state.
Franklin said he is ready to help if the state government wants to work with him.
Flooding has been a persistent problem in Lagos, especially during heavy rain when drainage channels get blocked and water builds up, making it hard for people to move around.
Some people online are skeptical of his claim.
One commenter said they hope the government will listen to him and not steal his idea without paying him.
Another person expressed doubt that Franklin actually has what he claims.
That commenter also suggested that people like him do not want the country to improve.
They said instead of working together to fix problems affecting their communities, people like Franklin want the government to pay them first before they help.
