Tension erupted in Bauchi after a confrontation between youths from two communities took a deadly turn, leaving one young man dead and another injured.

Police in Bauchi State have arrested five people over a violent clash between youths that left a 20-year-old man d£ad.
The incident happened on Wednesday in Bauchi.
A man identified as Adamu Abdullahi, also known as Baba Budi, was st@bbed in the shoulder with a knife in front of a shop.
The st@bbing sparked a fight between youths from two different communities in the area.
Police quickly arrived and broke up the clash to stop more violence from happening.
They took the victim to the hospital, but he d!ed.
Another man was also injured in the fighting and was taken to hospital where he is now in stable condition.
Five suspects have been arrested: Bashir Idris, Musa Dahiru, Marwan Mustapha, Aliyu Dahiru and Bashir Aliyu.
The police commissioner condemned the incident and ordered a full investigation.
He warned residents against taking justice into their own hands or carrying out revenge @tt@cks.
He asked people to stay calm and give police useful information.
Police have deployed patrol teams in the affected areas to keep the peace.
The suspects will be charged in court once investigations are complete.
