JAMB has issued an urgent message to candidates as the 2026/2027 admission process moves forward.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has asked candidates who have received admission offers to log in immediately and either accept or reject them.
The board issued the advice as it moves forward with the admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session.
JAMB stressed that candidates should not delay in checking their status.
Those who have been offered places must take action on the platform right away.
To check admission status, candidates need to log into their JAMB e-Facility accounts, click on Admission Status, and then access the Central Admissions Processing System.
If an offer appears on the dashboard, they should select either Accept Admission or Reject Admission.
The board warned candidates not to assume their admission status has not changed without checking their profiles.
Regular checks on CAPS are important to catch any updates or new offers that may have been made.
JAMB also introduced a new system that makes things easier for candidates.
People can now verify and upload their O'level results from home without having to visit a Computer-Based Test centre.
The board worked with the examination bodies responsible for conducting secondary school certificate exams to set this up.
This means candidates can upload their results at home while JAMB verifies them directly with the issuing exam bodies.
The new home verification system is particularly helpful during busy periods when CBT centres are crowded or when network problems make it difficult to access the centres.
