A Nigerian woman has gone viral criticizing men who walk up to women without taking care of their appearance or basic hygiene.
She questioned the confidence of men who approach women despite looking unkempt and neglecting personal grooming.
In a video that spread online, the woman said some men think being male gives them permission to approach any woman, no matter how badly they look.
She complained that some men don't even check themselves from head to toe before making a move.
"Some of you think that because you're a man, you can walk up to any woman and talk to her, not minding how dirty you look, how dirty your teeth is.
You do not even look at yourself from head to toe.
Some of you, your nose, the hairs inside is about to enter your mouth, but you're still seeing it and you have the guts and audacity to walk up to somebody," she said.
The video sparked debate online with mixed opinions.
Some people agreed that a man should take care of his hygiene and appearance before trying to talk to a woman.
Others disagreed, arguing that how someone looks at any given moment should not stop them from starting a conversation.
One person wrote that people should stick to their own level, saying if you are poor date the poor, and if you look dirty date someone who also looks dirty.
Another commenter said that just because he was unkempt at that moment did not mean he should not approach anyone.
He explained he might have been working or doing something dirty and did not want to miss an opportunity to talk to someone.
Another reaction suggested the woman thinks too highly of herself.
This person said she did not know why the man looked unkempt.
He could have been working on a job or had other reasons for his appearance that she knew nothing about.

I feel bad for her.
Why would someone call her Bokku Bread? pic.twitter.com/f1TcoTs1CX
