The National Youth Service Corps has set September 7 to 13, 2026, as the period for online registration for prospective members of the 2026 Batch C.

The scheme warned that prospective corps members must obtain their National Education Records Database clearance before they can complete their NYSC registration.

NERD clearance is compulsory for all those wishing to register for the scheme.

The NYSC advised prospective corps members to get their NERD clearance early to avoid delays in their mobilisation.

Those without the required clearance will not be able to register for the service year.

"NERD clearance is compulsory for all PCMs. No NERD clearance, no NYSC registration," the notice stated.

The registration window will open on Monday, September 7, and close on Sunday, September 13.

The NYSC urged all prospective corps members preparing for the 2026 Batch C mobilisation to secure their NERD clearance ahead of the registration period to ensure smooth processing.
