The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has identified the primary obstacles preventing candidates from appearing on the matriculation register.

The most common issue is failure to accept admission through the Central Admissions Processing System or having an admission status showing as not admitted.

JAMB advised affected candidates to return to their institutions to complete the admission process on CAPS.

The second reason stems from institutions failing to forward verified matriculation details to JAMB.

Candidates facing this obstacle should contact their school's admission office to ensure the information is submitted.

The third and most critical reason, according to JAMB, involves candidates who have not printed their original results slip and admission letter.

These candidates should visit the nearest JAMB office or an approved Computer-Based Test centre to obtain printed copies of both documents.

The board is encouraging candidates to monitor its social media accounts for ongoing updates and further guidance on the matriculation process.
