A deadly attack in Minna has triggered a police crackdown, with nine suspects already in custody.

Police in Niger State have arrested nine suspects in connection with the d£ath of a 35-year-old man who was stabbed in Minna on August 25.
Nafiu Mohammed from Sabon-Titi was att@cked in the Maitumbi area and taken to hospital where he was pronounced d£ad.
Six suspects have been arrested and identified as Emmanuel Moses, Lukman Mohammed, Abdullahi Mohammed, Sani Ibrahim, Abdullahi Yusuf and Adamu Isyaku.
One of them was found carrying a long cutlass.
Police say the suspects have named Muhammad Sani as being responsible for the k!lling, and efforts are ongoing to find him.
The six are being held on suspicion of criminal conspiracy and thuggery.
In a separate operation the same day, police raided troubled areas along the Maitumbi-Gwada Road and arrested three more suspects Nura Murtala, Idris Aliyu and Haruna Ibrahim, all from Saiko.
They were found with suspected cannabis, a cutlass, four scissors and shisha pipes with pots.
All suspects will be charged to court after investigation is complete.
