Burna Boy's mother and manager has revealed that she takes her son's phone away when he gets too wild during his Instagram Live sessions.
Speaking on a television interview, Bose Ogulu said she has learned to let him be himself rather than trying to change who he is.
She explained that Burna Boy is like a tapestry pull too hard on one thread and everything falls apart.
The same emotions that drive his controversial behaviour online are also what his fans love about him.
So instead of trying to stop him from being himself, she makes allowances.
But when he goes too far during his live videos, she steps in and grabs his phone.
Burna Boy is known for speaking his mind on social media, and his online Live sessions sometimes spark attention because of what he says and how he talks to people.
His mother said that's just part of who he is.
