Solomon Buchi has sparked debate with a blunt message to international visitors about where they should experience Nigeria.

Solomon Buchi, a prominent figure in the media, has suggested that international tourists looking for a genuine Nigerian experience look beyond Lagos and visit other regions of the nation.
In an online video, Buchi contended that although Nigeria boasts a number of cities with rich cultures, stunning landscapes, and distinctive experiences, Lagos has emerged as the preferred travel destination for many foreign tourists.
Buchi advises visitors to take into account other Nigerian cities.
Buchi explicitly advised foreign visitors to Nigeria, irrespective of their country, to think twice before making Lagos their first stop.
If you are a non-Nigerian who wants to see Nigeria in its purest, most beautiful form, stop going to Lagos. Quit traveling to Lagos.

The media personality criticized Lagos's overemphasis on entertainment and nightlife.
He maintained that the fast-paced, boisterous lifestyle of the metropolis did not accurately reflect Nigeria's diversity.
"The only things you can escape from Lagos are a nest of adulterers and fornicators, clubbing, begging, and a phony existence.
Apart from the chaos and cacophony, nothing is there.
His comments are expected to elicit conflicting responses, especially from Lagos locals and those who regard the commercial center as one of Nigeria's most popular travel destinations.
Among his suggestions were Uyo, Abuja, Calabar, and Jos.
Buchi urged tourists to visit cities throughout Nigeria's many regions rather than concentrating on Lagos.
"You may travel to a lot of different places in Nigeria and enjoy yourself. Visit the tranquil city of Uyo. Visit Abuja; it's a stunning city. even visit Oyo State's Ibadan.
Additionally, he mentioned Calabar, Jos, Taraba, Kano, Yola, and Bauchi as places that could provide tourists with an alternative view of Nigeria.
Buchi claims that these places offer chances to sample regional cuisine, customs, more tranquil settings, and unique scenery.
