Following the ghastly motor accident in Sagamu, along Sagamu-Benin express on Friday,26th of June,2015 which led to the death of 8 students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University and 4 others. There was a lucky survivor named Akinbo Ibukun.
The fatal motor accident on Friday, 26th of June, 2015 along Sagamu-Benin expressway involving a massive collison between a bus and a truck left 8 students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University as well as four others dead.
Only one lucky survivor however lived to tell the tale. Ibikun Akinbo who is 300 Level student of the Department of Chemistry of the University was visited at the hospital where she is receiving treatment by the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Yetunde Abosede Ononuga and the Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Adeoluwa.
Two lecture free days have been declared by the authorities of the university in honour of the dead students.
Already, two of the students, Dare Olatunji Michael and Aminat Adebayo have been buried.
