A Pakistani court has delivered a major ruling in the case involving Natasha Danish, who was accused of driving under the influence following the deadly Karsaz road crash.

A Pakistani court has acquitted Natasha Danish of drug charges related to the August 2024 Karsaz road accident, finding insufficient evidence to support the charges against her.
In August 2024, Danish was driving a speeding Toyota Land Cruiser when it hit three motorcycles and another car on Karsaz Road, killing a sixty year old man named Imran Arif and his twenty two year old daughter Amna while wounding three others.
She was arrested at the scene and charged with murder.
Medical reports later confirmed she was under the influence of methamphetamine when driving, leading police to file a separate drug case against her.
In October 2024, Danish was acquitted in the murder case following a compromise agreement between the parties.
On Friday, the court examined the drug case and determined that prosecutors failed to prove the charges.
Danish's lawyer argued that no traces of methamphetamine were found in her chemical examinations and blood tests.
He claimed police had tampered with the samples taken from her and alleged that the investigating officer had hidden her blood test report.
The case had been registered under drug and alcohol-related provisions.
A judicial magistrate had rejected Danish's acquittal plea in May 2025, but the latest ruling finds the evidence insufficient.
The court's decision comes after multiple hearings and bail applications across various levels of Pakistan's court system.
