Residents and business owners along Idimu Ejigbo Road are raising the alarm over a huge pile of rubbish that has taken over part of the busy road.

Residents and business owners on the Idimu-Ejigbo Road are complaining about a massive pile of rubbish that's been sitting on the road median for six months.
The waste heap is near Dorcas and Silva Estate and has become a serious problem.
It covers about 150 metres and is starting to spill onto the road itself.
Some of it has decomposed, creating a terrible smell, especially when the weather is hot.
A shop owner said the stench is unbearable, particularly in the afternoon when he's trying to serve customers.
He said waste management companies collect rubbish from residents regularly, so nobody understands why this heap has been left alone for so long.
Another resident called it embarrassing, pointing out that the road is heavily used by cars and pedestrians every day.
A food vendor who used to work in the area has already moved away because customers won't stay near the smell, he said, affecting businesses.
The situation is worse because waste was cleared from another part of the road a few weeks ago after a news report, but this section was skipped.
Traders are asking why some areas got attention while this one was forgotten.
Residents are calling on the waste management authority to come and remove the rubbish immediately and make sure it doesn't pile up again.
They're warning that leaving decomposing waste sitting there for this long is a health hazard.
The waste management authority's head did not respond to calls or messages seeking comment.
