Lagos State University is set for a leadership change as Prof. Ayodeji Badejo prepares to take over as vice chancellor.

The new Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University, Prof. Ayodeji Badejo, will begin her duties on September 20.
Badejo, a professor of guidance and counselling, is taking over from Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, whose five-year term as vice-chancellor is ending when she retires.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu appointed Badejo to the position.
Badejo was born on August 4, 1962, and earned her PhD in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Lagos.
She also has a Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling from the same university.
