Kaduna Governor Uba Sani has made a major shake-up in his government, appointing new commissioners and heads of important state agencies.

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has made new appointments to help strengthen his government.
Three people were appointed as commissioners. Ben Kure, who runs the state media corporation, was named Commissioner for Sports Development.
Amina Akilu Dalhat became Commissioner for Special Duties I, and Abdullahi Garba Abbas took the position of Commissioner for Special Duties II.
Dr Haliru Soba, who works in the Education Ministry, was promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration.
The governor also appointed chairmen and members to lead key boards and agencies across the state.
Alhaji Munir Jafaru will chair the State Health Care Board.
Retired Air Vice Marshal Bashir Saidu heads the Vigilance Service Board.
Others include retired Justice Gideon Isa Kurada to lead the College of Education, and Esther Bago to head the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development.
Dr Yusuf Bature will chair the Hospital Supply Management Agency, while Engr. Namadi Musa leads the Rural Access Roads Authority.
The governor said all appointees were chosen because of their track record of doing good work, their integrity and their commitment to service.
He told them to bring new ideas, work hard and avoid getting lazy.
He also urged them to align with his vision for transforming Kaduna State.
He wished them success in their new roles.
