Donald Ojogo, the House of Representatives member for Ilaje and Ese Odo in Ondo State, has given out 4,500 bags of rice to residents across his constituency as a relief effort.

Ojogo worked with the National Productivity Centre in Abuja to secure the rice, which was distributed at Teachers Hall in Okoga, Igbokoda.

Communities across both local government areas sent beneficiaries to receive their share.

The lawmaker said the move was meant to turn opportunities available through federal institutions into real benefits for his people.

During the distribution, Ojogo also urged constituents to back President Tinubu's administration and support his re-election bid in 2027, saying the president's efforts have been beneficial to Ondo State and the country.

A former member of the House of Representatives, Kolade Akinjo, who oversaw the event, praised the intervention as a clear sign of care for constituents' welfare.

He noted that such direct assistance to people's lives deserves encouragement.

Community leaders and those receiving the rice expressed their gratitude for the gesture.
