Security forces in Plateau State have arrested three men as part of an investigation into the death of a farmer in Riyom.

Troops from Operation ENDURING PEACE have arrested three Fulani men in Plateau State in connection with a farmer's d£ath in Riyom Local Government Area.
The three men Anas Usman, Nuhu Mohammad and Haruna Ahmed were arrested on September 13 during a raid on Baggat and Shong 2 Fulani hamlets in Bachi community.
The operation came after security forces launched a search for those responsible for the farmer's d£ath in Fang community on September 12.
A security analyst noted that while the three arrested men may not be the ones who actually caused the d£ath, their arrest is part of broader efforts to pressure local Fulani leaders into helping authorities identify and hand over those responsible.
The suspects are being held for further investigation and intelligence gathering.
