Security forces in the North-West have recorded a series of successes, including the arrest of a suspected drug dealer in Kaduna and the rescue of two people during a terrorist attack in Sokoto.

Nine passengers have been k!lled when gunmen opened fire on a commercial bus at Dungus Junction in Kuru community, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The bus was stopped at the junction to drop off some passengers when the att@ck happened around 9:40pm.
The vehicle, which was heading to Jos, was left riddled with bullets and stained with blood.
A teacher whose student was the bus driver confirmed the incident, saying three of the victims were from Bukuru community in the area.
Their bodies have been taken to the hospital as relatives prepare for burial.
Some passengers who were wounded in the att@ck were rushed to hospitals, where some later d!ed.
A spokesman for the Berom Youth Moulders said one of those k!lled was a member of Operation Rainbow.
He described the incident as a very sad development and lamented the loss of life.
The Plateau State police command has not yet released any statement about the att@ck.
