Former Barcelona and Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman is grieving the loss of his wife, Bartina.

Former Barcelona and Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman has announced the d£ath of his wife Bartina.
Koeman shared the news in an emotional message on social media on Wednesday, calling Bartina his beautiful wife and the family's dearest mother and grandmother.
Barcelona sent its condolences to Koeman and his family following Bartina's passing.
The club said it and its supporters send deepest sympathy and affection to Koeman and those close to him.
The Netherlands national team also paid tribute to Bartina and offered support to Koeman, his children, grandchildren and other family members.
The national team said they wish Koeman and his family great strength as they face this loss.
Koeman, 63, is one of the most important figures in Dutch football.
He had a successful playing career before becoming a coach.
He managed Barcelona from 2020 to 2021 and also coached the Netherlands, Everton, Southampton, Ajax and several other teams.
Koeman and Bartina had been married for many years and had three children together.
The family has asked for privacy as they grieve.
