Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe have both made a big name for themselves at a young age, but they play in different ways.

Barcelona's Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe took different paths to early stardom, with new statistics revealing how their teenage years shaped vastly different playing styles.
Yamal made more appearances than Mbappe during his teenage years, racking up 191 games to Mbappe's 150, yet the Frenchman's goal tally tells another story.
Mbappe struck 73 times as a teenager compared with Yamal's 64.
But Yamal proved far more generous in the final third, recording 69 assists against Mbappe's 48.
Combined, Yamal managed 133 goal contributions while Mbappe reached 121.
Where Mbappe truly shined was efficiency. He scored roughly once every 136 minutes while Yamal took 221 minutes between goals.
The Frenchman also produced a goal or assist every 82 minutes against Yamal's 106 minutes.
Interestingly, Mbappe's goal haul came almost entirely from open play with just one penalty, whereas Yamal's eight penalties inflated his tally somewhat.
Their careers unfolded differently too. Mbappe debuted for Monaco at 16 and became crucial to their 2016-17 title push and Champions League run.
He joined PSG at 18, won another Ligue 1 crown and captured the World Cup with France shortly before turning 20.
Yamal started even younger, debuting for Barcelona at 15 to become Spain's youngest senior player.
He has since won major honours with Barcelona and played a key role for Spain internationally.
Mbappe recently praised Yamal's emergence, urging focus on his football rather than his personal life, saying the teenager must preserve his passion for the game above all else.
