Alexander Isak says joining Liverpool was an easy decision, even though his departure from Newcastle was messy.
The Swedish striker moved to Anfield on deadline day in September 2025 for a British-record 125 million pounds.
In an interview, he said Liverpool's size, ambition and determination to sign him made the choice straightforward.
Isak left Newcastle after a rough patch where he trained away from the first team, claiming the club broke promises made to him.
His first season at Liverpool was tough.
A leg break in December sidelined him until April, limiting him to 22 appearances and just three Premier League goals.
But Isak insisted he never regretted the move.
He said staying focused on the future helped him handle the injury setback.
Once recovered, he moved forward instead of looking back.
This season is going better. After just four games, he has already matched his three-goal tally from last season.
He also played for Sweden at the World Cup over summer.
