Kebbi Police Pay ₦11.4m to Families of Fallen Officers

A financial lifeline has reached 18 families connected to deceased police officers in Kebbi State.

Kebbi State Police gave cheques totalling 11.4 million naira to 18 beneficiaries and families of deceased officers on Wednesday.

The payments came from group life assurance and personal accident insurance schemes.

Police Commissioner Umar Hadejia presented the cheques on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu.

The command said the payments reflect the Nigeria Police commitment to supporting families of dead personnel.

Hadejia said the service of the deceased officers to the nation would not be forgotten, and the insurance benefits would help their families.

The beneficiaries thanked the Inspector-General, Force Management and the Commissioner for the gesture.
