An APC leader, Farouk Aliyu, has reacted strongly to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike calling some APC governors lazy.

Former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives and APC chieftain Farouk Aliyu says the party will not tolerate FCT Minister Nyesom Wike calling their governors lazy.
Aliyu made the warning on Thursday during an online interview.
He was reacting to a recent feud between the minister and APC governors.
The APC governors, led by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, had rejected any alliance that threatens President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027 and vowed loyalty to the party.
Wike responded by describing the APC governors as politically lazy.
But Aliyu warned that APC members will not tolerate such name calling.
Aliyu said Wike cannot decide how APC runs its campaigns.
He said it is unacceptable for the party to support coalitions where people vote for Tinubu and another party.
Aliyu said it is uncalled for someone trying to help APC to insult members of the party.
