Social commentator Isaac Fayose has made a strong claim about the 2027 presidential election, saying Abuja will back Peter Obi.

Social commentator Isaac Fayose says Peter Obi of the NDC will comfortably win the 2027 presidential election in Abuja.
Fayose made the claim on Tuesday during an online interview, disagreeing with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike who recently said President Tinubu would easily win in Abuja and Rivers State.
"Abuja is NDC. Abuja is Peter Obi," Fayose said.
He believes the ruling party can only win by rigging.
The NDC has put strategies in place to prevent the election from being manipulated.
Fayose said people are ready to vote.
What worries them is whether the government will use some tactic to suppress their votes.
That's what they're trying to prepare for.
He urged Nigerians to ask people on the streets who they plan to vote for. In other countries, they do mock elections before the real vote to test public opinion.
Nigeria should do the same, he suggested.
