The Chairman of Ilorin South Local Government Area in Kwara State, Hon. Nuhu Majeed Podo, announced new security steps to protect residents while presenting his second-year administrative scorecard.
To boost safety, the council hired 150 additional security personnel, distributed 50 patrol motorcycles, donated a Sienna bus, and upgraded the Civil Defence outpost at Alagbado to a full division.
Beyond security, the administration renovated several schools, built a new multipurpose hall, provided learning supplies, sponsored 30 health science students, installed 17 electrical transformers, drilled water boreholes across all 11 wards, and fixed several local roads.
Podo credited President Bola Tinubu's financial reforms and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq's support for making these projects possible.
