The Nigeria Democratic Congress director of communications has declared that Peter Obi will be Nigeria's next president, predicting that 2027 will bring the biggest political upset in the country's history.
Theo Abu Agada made the remarks in response to Obi's statement clarifying the roles of various grassroots movements backing his candidacy.
Obi had stressed that the NDC is the official political party while groups like the OK Movement, Obidient Movement and Kwankwasiyya function as supporting organisations that should rally behind the party rather than operate as political entities themselves.
Posting on social media, Agada thanked Obi for the explanation, describing him as the future president.
He expressed confidence that Nigerians would witness a historic political transformation, calling on citizens to join what he framed as a defining moment in the nation's political future.
