Three more Nigerians have reportedly been killed in separate incidents in South Africa within just four days, according to Nigeria’s High Commissioner, Femi Fani-Kayode.

Nigeria's High Commissioner to South Africa, Femi Fani-Kayode, has warned against the killing of Nigerians in the country.
In a statement shared on social media, he asked the South African government to make sure those behind the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians face justice.
His call comes after three Nigerians were killed in the country this September alone.
The former Minister of Aviation condemned the killings and prayed for the victims to rest in peace.
He said the Nigerian Consul in Johannesburg told him three more Nigerians were murdered in three separate incidents within four days.
The killings happened on the 18th, 20th and 21st of September.
According to him, this raises the number of Nigerians murdered in South Africa this year to 12.
He added that 112 have been murdered since 2022 and that 32 of them were killed by members of the South African security forces.
Fani-Kayode said nobody has been brought to justice or convicted for any of these crimes.
He condemned the killings again and appealed to the South African authorities to punish those responsible and protect Nigerians living there.
