Moyo Lawal has responded to an online critic who questioned why she is still active in Nollywood and suggested that she is taking opportunities away from younger actresses.

Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal has clapped back at a man who mocked her age and accused her of refusing to leave the entertainment industry, saying she is blocking younger actresses from getting roles.
The man reportedly said she was not giving younger girls a chance, using a crude word for them, and asked why she was still active in the industry.
Lawal replied by asking if he was pained because she looks amazing.
In a long response, she also spoke about her past relationship.
She said she walked away from a man with a weak mind who could not handle losing her and tried to destroy her at one point.
She added that she has nothing in common with sleeping around.
The actress has faced public judgement over her personal life before, especially after an intimate video of her leaked in 2023.
She has kept pushing back against online attacks and efforts to shame her over her private and sexual life.
