Edo State APC says it is already preparing for the 2027 elections and wants to win strong support across the state.

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has said the APC has what it takes to win next year general elections in the state.
He said the party is well placed ahead of the polls.
He spoke at a mobilisation rally in Ologbo Wards 9 and 10 in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area.
He said the rally was meant to strengthen the party at the grassroots and win support for its National Assembly candidates.
He urged members to stay united and committed to the party programmes, and promised that his government will keep working for the development of the state.
He also thanked voters for backing his administration and said he believes the party will hold on to its support across Edo.
Edo APC Chairman Jarrett Tenebe said the party is aiming for 2.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the state.
He said mobilisation has started in all 18 local government areas to reach that target.
He added that the governor and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa, have been visiting communities and meeting party members, and urged everyone to work together to achieve the party goals.
