Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has complained about what he calls the growing culture of begging in Lagos.

In a post on social media, the artist urged the Lagos State Government to take action to curb the spread of beggars in the state.

He said he believes the situation could get out of hand if it is not looked into urgently.

He warned the state government that if it does not do something serious about the begging situation, it will soon grow into something it cannot control.

This is not the first complaint about street begging in Lagos.

Many other celebrities and Lagosians have raised concerns about the spread of street begging and entitlement, which they say has led to violent physical and verbal attacks.
