Actress Halle Berry is facing serious allegations from her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, who claims she physically hurt their 12-year-old son.

Halle Berry is being accused of abusing her 12-year-old son by her ex-husband, actor Olivier Martinez, who has filed a petition for a temporary restraining order against her.
Martinez alleges that on September 26, the Catwoman actress physically abused their son Maceo by jumping on him, putting her hands around his neck and choking him.
He is asking for sole custody, which would change their current split arrangement.
Berry's attorney, Marina Beck, said the filing is entirely meritless and deliberately misleading.
She said there is plenty of evidence, including several court rulings, that Martinez repeatedly violated court orders and interfered with needed therapy and education for their son, and that he has already been sanctioned for it.
She added that the filing is not surprising from someone with a well-documented history of erratic, possessive and violent behaviour.
She said Berry is deeply saddened but will keep fighting for Maceo's best interests.
In the filing, Martinez claims there were other instances of abuse over the last few years, including more physical attacks on their son and verbal and emotional abuse toward him.
He alleges Berry told their son he is a white person trying to rob a Black woman over child support issues and asked the boy how he feels about that as a Black man.
Martinez said Berry texted him to apologise after the September 26 incident.
He wrote that he does not want to permanently cut the relationship between their son and Berry, but believes they should not interact until she takes enough accountability for her actions.
He also asked that Berry be ordered not to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances during visits.
He said he believes the boy may be traumatised and does not want to stay at her house.
Berry and Martinez filed for divorce in 2015 after two years of marriage. Berry also has an 18-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Representatives for Berry did not respond to a request for comment.
