FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has said President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election is always on his mind, and he believes it will be easier than the 2023 race.
He spoke on Monday at town hall meetings with the Rumueme and Apara kingdoms in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The former Rivers governor said he is fully committed to getting Tinubu a second term and asked residents of the state to turn out in large numbers for the president.
Wike said he thinks about it when he sleeps, when he eats and in everything he does these days.
He asked Rivers people to put sentiment aside and vote for the man who, in his words, has recognised the state with development projects and many appointments for its sons and daughters in key positions.
According to him, the Tinubu administration has brought several developments to Rivers State.
He urged the people to show their appreciation by giving the president a massive number of votes in 2027.
