First Lady Remi Tinubu has said Nigeria's economy is stabilising, with foreign reserves growing and inflation coming down.

She said this on Monday in Abuja at the One-Day Women Stakeholders Mobilization and Empowerment Pre-Inaugural Summit, organised by the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

The event carried the theme Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0: From Reforms to Prosperity: One Voice, One Movement, One Choice, One Mandate 2027.

APC delegates from the 36 states and Abuja attended.

Women groups including the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, the National Female Students Association of Nigeria, Christian and Muslim groups and market associations also endorsed the president.

Mrs Tinubu said President Bola Tinubu is a leader people can trust because his reforms are having a positive effect.

She said investors are returning, farmers are getting more support and university students can now get student loans through their phones.

She asked the women to tell everyone back home that they have a leader bold enough to take hard decisions early on, and one who can be trusted to lead the country to prosperity.

She urged them to show the world that Nigerian women have spoken with one voice and will vote APC again so the foundation already laid can be built upon.

The wives of members of the House of Representatives also promised to deliver 20,000 votes per constituency to the president in the 2027 election.

Speaking for them, Hajiya Fatima Tajudeen Abbas, wife of the Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas, said the women are happy with the reforms.

She said the administration has shown that women are empowered, families are strengthened and communities prosper.

She promised 20,000 women votes from every federal constituency and called on Nigerian women to unite as one.

She also urged them to go back to their wards and campaign door to door ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
