Dr Aminu Usman, popular known as Abu Ammar, has stepped down from his role as the head of the Katsina State Hisbah Board.
His resignation takes effect straight away.
In an official letter dated October 5 sent to the Secretary to the State Government, Usman announced he was leaving the post.
He did not give a reason for why he chose to quit so suddenly.
Despite leaving without explanation, he made sure to thank Governor Dikko Radda for trusting him with the position.
He shared that serving the people of Katsina was a genuine honor and privilege, adding that he was grateful for the chance to play a role in promoting peace, safety, and moral standards across the state during his time in office.
Before stepping away, Usman offered warm prayers for Governor Radda and the state.
He asked for God to grant the governor wisdom, good health, and direction to lead, while wishing lasting peace and growth for the people of Katsina.
