An aide to Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris has warned that former Attorney General Abubakar Malami may not be allowed into the state.

The aide, ATM Jega, who handles cemetery affairs, says this could happen if people linked to Malami keep pulling down political billboards.

Jega made the threat after reports that some people had been taking down billboards in different parts of Kebbi.

He told Malami, who is the ADC governorship candidate in the state, to talk to his supporters and stop the damage.

Jega said he will act if the taking down of billboards does not stop.

The row comes as the race for the 2027 general elections begins to heat up in Kebbi.
