A major change has hit the Ekiti State government as Governor Biodun Oyebanji orders several top officials to leave their positions.

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has approved the immediate removal of all technical advisers and directors general of government agencies.
They have been asked to hand over their notes to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
The move came about 24 hours after the state executive council was dissolved.
Chief Press Secretary Olayinka Oyebode said it completes the exit of political appointees, except a few whose roles were kept because of the nature of their work.
The governor thanked the affected officials for their support and wished them well.
The change comes as his first term winds down ahead of his second term inauguration on October 16.
