An Abuja High Court has adjourned the assault and battery trial of rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, known as Odumodublvck, until October 14.
The case was brought by Levi Ogbogiri, also known as Kraziecent, who says the rapper attacked him without reason at a public event on December 16, 2024.
Odumodublvck and his lawyer were absent when the case resumed on Tuesday, even though the judge had ordered a short break to give them time to arrive.
Ogbogiri's lawyer, Uchenna Ojembe, said his client was ready to proceed and complained that the case has been delayed too many times.
Ogbogiri then gave evidence and relied on contracts, medical records, photos and WhatsApp messages.
His medical records show a wrist injury and the treatment that followed.
The judge adjourned the matter so the defence can cross-examine him.
Ogbogiri wants the rapper to pay his medical bills and publish a public apology on social media and in two national dailies.
He is also asking for N2 billion in damages.
