The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) wants INEC to extend the display of the preliminary voter register and the collection of Permanent Voter Cards by one week.

The exercise is due to end on October 15, and the group wants it moved to October 22, 2026.

In a statement signed by its National President, Hon. Khalil Mohd Khalil, the group said millions of people, especially in remote rural areas, do not know the exercise is happening.

It covers Nigerians who registered online or in person between August 18 and December 10, 2025.

Collection is taking place at ward headquarters across all local government areas.

The group said many displaced people in the North registered but do not know their cards are ready.

It said one more week is needed so they can reach their ward offices.

KACRAN also asked the 19 northern governors to declare October 19 and 20 work free days for voter education, if INEC agrees to the extension.

It urged the media to step up awareness and asked anyone yet to collect their card to do so before the deadline.
