Before saying yes to love, there is one habit Pastor Bolaji Idowu believes people must deal with first.

Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters Church says people should deal with their selfishness before getting into a relationship.
Preaching at a sermon titled "Fixing and Restoring A Broken Relationship And Marriage," he warned against dating someone who makes everything about themselves.
He used Proverbs 23:6 to make his point.
He gave the example of a woman who insists on an iPhone 18 for her birthday even when her partner says he cannot afford it.
"You will know you did not find a wife.
You found a knife," he said.
He also spoke about a man who buys an expensive phone for himself but never thinks about upgrading his partner's phone.
Idowu said that shows a lack of care.
"Love doesn't need to be asked. Love takes initiative," he said.
He added that people should watch how a partner treats others, not just how they treat them, because someone can pretend to care while looking out for themselves.
