Mahrah Al Nahyan, 32, from the Abu Dhabi royal family, has admitted one charge of child neglect.

She was found slumped against railings in west London after a cocaine binge.

A three year old she was looking after was playing barefoot near a road nearby.

Passersby called the emergency services and some stayed with the child until help arrived.

Al Nahyan was reportedly unconscious for about 30 minutes.

Footage from June, obtained by the Crown Prosecution Service, shows her sitting on the pavement with her head slumped.

Prosecutor Rio Pahlavanpour told Southwark Crown Court that the child had been running towards the road while chasing a piece of paper, and a member of the public had to stop them.

The judge, Justice Jeremy Johnson, said her recklessness put the child at serious risk.

She was given a two year community order with a rehabilitation requirement.

She must also pay a fine of around $6,500 and court costs of about $1,300.

Her lawyer, Stephen Vullo, said she had not taken cocaine that day but was exhausted from using it earlier.

He said she has stayed clean since entering a drug treatment centre in Woking and has shown deep remorse.
