Former England boss Gareth Southgate says he does not see himself going back to Premier League management.
He resigned after England lost 2-1 to Spain in the Euro 2024 final and has not managed since.
He told The Amol Rajan Connection that he stopped enjoying football towards the end of his time with England.
"By the end, I didn't even enjoy the wins for any longer than a couple of minutes," he said.
He said he has hardly watched football since.
He last went to a football ground for the FA Cup final, when his boyhood club Crystal Palace won their first major trophy, and he has not been back since.
Southgate, 56, has moved into other work.
He has worked in the media, made a documentary on the challenges facing young men and boys, and been a visiting lecturer at Harvard Business School.
"I've loved the last 18 months of my life," he said.
He said it has been good to step away from judging himself by results every weekend.
He also commented on Manchester City's legal fight over alleged breaches of Premier League financial rules.
An independent commission found the club guilty of most charges covering the 2009-10 to 2017-18 seasons.
City deny wrongdoing and appealed on October 2.
Southgate said some fans will want harsh punishments, but he warned that the case is complicated and that there are no winners.
