Bayern Munich have reached a verbal agreement in principle with Harry Kane on a new long-term contract that would keep the England captain at the club until June 2029.
Transfer journalist Michael Bridge reported the news, and Fabrizio Romano confirmed it online, on Thursday.
Salary and contract length have been agreed.
The documents are now with lawyers for checks and approval, and the deal is expected to be signed as soon as possible.
Kane has given his personal approval.
His current contract runs until the summer of 2027.
The new deal would add two more years and keep the 33 year old at the Allianz Arena into his mid-30s.
Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham in a club record move in 2023.
He has scored more than 150 goals in around 154 appearances in all competitions.
He has won the Bundesliga top scorer award in each of his seasons in Germany and helped the club win domestic titles.
Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund earlier called the talks "very positive," while stressing that nothing is final until the contract is signed.
