ADC presidential running mate Rotimi Amaechi has said President Bola Tinubu could one day be arrested by the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

In a video addressed to ADC stakeholders, Amaechi claimed a certain number of people would have to be killed by this government before the ICC could prosecute Tinubu.

He said the Attorney General, who was once his lawyer, knows what that number is.

He compared the situation to former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, who is in detention over the deaths of thousands of people.

Amaechi warned the government to stop cracking down on the opposition.

He said international law does not only go after the top man.

The general who gave the order, the Chief of Army Staff and the Inspector General of Police could also be arrested.

He told his supporters to be ready and to resist any intimidation.
