Nigerian rapper Ruggedman has opened up about why he has yet to get married despite wanting a family.

Veteran rapper Ruggedman says he is still unmarried at 52 because of his music career and a five year relationship that fell apart.
In a recent radio interview, he said he has always wanted to get married and have children.
But he made a promise to himself never to have a child outside marriage.
He said he came into the music industry when artistes had to hustle hard with little support, and time slipped away while he worked.
He noted that some of his peers, like 2Baba, found partners who stood by them through their careers.
He was not that lucky.
He also revealed that he was once in a five year relationship that he thought would lead to marriage.
It ended after something happened, but he did not say what.
He confirmed that he is single right now.
Still, he believes it is never too late to find a life partner and get married.
On the rumours about his sexuality, he said simply that he is very straight.
